November marks the 15th anniversary of World of Warcraft! As part of the continuing anniversary celebration that began with the launch of WoW Classic.
Starting today, players who log in to Battle for Azeroth will receive a special package that includes a Lil’ Nefarian pet, increased experience and reputation gains throughout the event, and more.
Additionally, there are a few activities throughout the celebration that you won’t want to miss.
Memories of Azeroth – This Raid Finder event will take players back in time to boss encounters from previous extensions.
Chromie has separated the strands of time, allowing you to go back and relive epic raid encounters from Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm. Each of these limited-time raids will feature three iconic bosses, and they’ll be available as their own wings through the Raid Finder.
Players who conquer these trials will be rewarded with the Obsidian Worldbreaker, a Deathwing-inspired mount.
Return to Alterac Valley – PVP players will get to experience the Alterac Valley battleground as it existed in its earliest days.
Run down your enemies, raze their fortifications, and exchange the tokens you loot from their corpses to summon mighty reinforcements in Korrak’s Revenge, a throwback Battleground inspired by the earliest days of Alterac Valley.
Complete the Alterac Valley of Olde achievement and earn two new mounts: the Stormpike Battle Ram (Alliance) and the Frostwolf Snarler (Horde).
