Wonderful 101: Remastered hits $1 Mil on Kickstarter in 24h

After 24h, Wonderful 101: Remastered passed its goal, and they hit $1 million in pledges. So, Platinum Games is bringing the game to Switch, PC, and PS4.

The Wonderful 101: Remastered is—you will never guess—a remaster of Platinum Games’ Wii U game that had players helping superheroes save the city. The remaster will bring the game to modern platforms and add some enhancements while keeping the core game the same.

Platinum's Wonderful 101 Kickstarter has surpassed the initial $500.000 top-end target, which means the game will be available on Steam, Switch, and PS4. Three more stretch goals have been added since. The $1 mil goal is a Time Attack mode, $1.5 mil is Luka’s first mission, “a 2D side scrolling adventure”, and at $1.75 mil a remix of the soundtrack with an unannounced special guest.

Pledges start at $36 and all you get is the digital release of the game, but if you want to go all out, you can pledge $5000. The final tier gets you a physical edition of the game, shirt, figures, keychain, lots and lots of soundtracks, custom Wonderful 101: Remastered gamepad, artbooks, you’ll even get a tweet from Hideki Kamiya, who will then block you, and so much more.

Wonderful 101: Remastered is sitting at $1,094,266 at the time of writing, they still have 31 days until the end of the campaign, so it will be interesting to see the final amount.
