Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 First Abilities Revealed

In Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2, you begin as a newly-embraced Thinblood, a second-class citizen when it comes to the vampire world. They're not liked and they're weaker than the full-blooded vampires belonging to various clans. Later in the game, you will be able to join them, but even as a Thinblood you will have some cool skills available.

It's fair to note that Seattle’s leadership has been uncharacteristically tolerant of Thinbloods. As Seattle has only relatively recently come under Camarilla control, it remains a city of opportunity where Thinbloods can navigate their way into the higher circles of vampire society.

When you begin you will pick one of three Thinblood disciplines, each giving you a different set of abilities that can be useful no matter the situation. Later on, you will also be able to join one of the five clans and unlock new abilities and skill upgrades.

Chiropteran - Bats are a mans best friend

•Glide - Glide lowers the weight of your skeleton and muscle mass to allow you to briefly float, reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. It’s also great for surprising enemies with a drop attack.

•Bat Swarm - You summon a small swarm of bats to attack your target, they are temporarily disabled and take some damage. It can also be further upgraded to function as a shield that will damage anyone foolish enough to get near.

Mentalism - Telekinesis has its ups and down

•Pull - It does exactly what you might think, you affect objects using telekinesis, even weapons held by enemies.

•Levitate - This too does exactly what you think, it suspends a target in the air. It can be upgraded to the point where you can simply ragdoll opponents near you.

Nebulation - A vape convention

•Mist Shroud - You summon a mist that surrounds you. The mist muffles footsteps and makes you harder to be seen. Besides the tactical advantage, you can partially turn into mist and fill a targets lungs, or do less interesting stuff like go through tight spaces.

•Envelop - Similar to Mist Shroud, you summon mist, but instead of it surrounding you, it surrounds your target which it blinds and chokes.
