What started as a simple joke, ended up being a huge success!
Untitled Goose Game, a puzzle-stealth game developed by House House and published by Panic, has been sold in over 1 million copies worldwide.
This information has been revealed by Cabel Sasser, the co-founder of Panic, on Twitter.
The way Untitled Goose Game was created is interesting. It all started with a stock photo of a goose that a House House employee posted in the company’s group chat. They started talking about geese, and after a few months realized that the idea had potential to make for a fun game. And they weren’t wrong at all.
In the game, the player controls a goose that is making all kinds of mess and mischiefs in an otherwise idyllic English village.
Untitled Goose Game is available for PC/Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
