The Field of Glory: Empires Trailer Is Now in Latin

The Field of Glory: Empires is nearing it release and to celebrate, SlitherineGames and AGEod released the Latin version of the trailer explaining the game’s features.

The Field of Glory: Empires is a grand strategy game set in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, it releases on July 11th. Armchair Imperators will have a new game to test their wits and conquer the known world, from the Mediterranean sea, up to chilly Caledonia or beyond the limes with German feral tribes.

Two weeks ago Slitherine published a two minutes trailer explaining the features of the game. The same trailer is now officially released in old Latin, the language of Cicero and Tacitus.

Marketing Director, Marco Minoli, gave a short (mostly understandable) statement, "Empires melior quam Imperator ludus est”, and added to that a very interesting promise, “If Field of Glory: Empires sells more than 250.000 copies worldwide, we will release a full Latin version of our game".

In case your Latin is a bit dusty, he said: “Empires is a better game than Imperator.
