The first big sale on the Epic Games Store has begun and it will last until June 13. You also have an additional $10 of on all games over $15 and even more free games.
The sale has prices down as much as 75%, which considering those extra $10 you get on the house makes for some great deals. Besides the sale, Epic has decided to spice things up with a free game every week, instead of every two weeks.
Those $10 can be used for pre-orders, but you can not use them for DLC and in-game purchases. In case you already pre-ordered a certain game, you will receive a $10 refund to reflect the savings. If you bought any game just before the sale (Specifically May 2-May 15) and it is on sale now, you will receive the difference as a refund.
Interestingly, two games have been pulled from the store so that they wouldn’t be a part of the sale by request of the developers. These games are Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 and Oxygen Not Included. Epic commented that they respect the developer's decision to not have their game be a part of the sale and that any purchase with the reduced price made before they were removed will be honored.
