The Elder Scrolls: Blades Launch for Nintendo Switch Delayed for 2020

Bethesda Game Studios has revealed in an official post that it’s moving the launch of The Elder Scrolls: Blades for Nintendo Switch. It’s been delayed for early 2020.

Unfortunately, amidst all the other changes we’re making to Blades, we’ve had to delay our Switch release until early 2020. We can’t wait until you can begin your quest in Blades on the Switch, and we’re confident this additional time will let us deliver the polished gameplay our fans deserve,” reads the post.

The changes mentioned are coming with a new update, Update 1.5, for the game. In the post, they’ve shared information about it too. This update is going to be released in early December. The game’s been criticized because of its loot system, and some changes are going to be made.

With this update, the controversial chest timers will be removed so that you can open your chests immediately, and there are going to be more loot drops. Then, PvP mode, the Arena, is going to be added and it will be available to players at level 5 or higher. Also, guilds are coming to Blades as well.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is currently available as Early Access for Android and iOS devices.
