Telltale Titles Are Being Removed from Marketplaces

Recently, Tales From The Borderlands became unavailable on Steam, and GOG has announced that from May 27 Telltale games will not be available on their store.

Telltale Games closed down in October last year and it seems that the licensing agreements are expiring. It began with Tales From The Borderlands on steam, it’s still technically on Steam, but it can’t be bought. 2K Games told Eurogamer that they are working on returning it, but didn’t comment on why it was removed.

We are working to get Tales from the Borderlands back up on digital storefronts as soon as possible,” a spokesperson for 2K Games said “All prior digital purchases of the game will of course still be honored and supported.

Good Old Games (GOG) announced on their forums that starting from May 27, 10 am UTC Telltale titles will no longer be available on their store.

The exact list of games which will no longer be available is: The Wolf Among Us, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Hector: Badge of Carnage, the Batman series, Sam & Max series, Puzzle Agent series, Tales from the Borderlands, and Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People.
