Techland Says Dying Light 2 Is Being Delayed Indefinitely

Techland announced that Dying Light 2, originally scheduled to release in Spring 2020, has been delayed. There is no new release date for now.

This was a pretty bad few days for game release delays. Some of the most anticipated games all got delayed, Cyberpunk 2077 was moved to September 17, Final Fantasy VII Remake is now set for April 10, and Marvel’s Avengers is coming September 4.

Techland posted a statement on Twitter, announcing that they will need more time. "We were initially aiming for a Spring 2020 release with Dying Light 2, but unfortunately we need more development time to fulfill our vision," Techland wrote. "We will have more details to share in the coming months, and will get back as soon as we have more information".

Techland unfortunately didn't announce a new release date for Dying Light 2. Dying Light 2 is still expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
