The Steam Summer Sale Grand Prix game is a bit weirdly worded and has caused some confusion and due to it games are being deleted from Steam wishlists in large numbers.
Indie developers are complaining that their games are being massively removed from wishlists. Some suggest that this is because users have misunderstood the Grand Prix game and are trying to win specific games they have wishlisted.
The wording on the signup page is a bit unclear, it simply states that every day, users from the top three teams will be randomly selected to receive their most wished games. To be fair, it is further explained later on that the most wished game is simply the game you place at the top of the list. Which they did come out to make clear.
