Source Code Hints at Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC

At this point it’s clear that Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to PC, the only question left is, when exactly will it come to PC.

Twitter user JakoMako51 posted his findings in the source code of Rockstar Social Club, a line that reads “RDR2_PC_Accomplishments”. Accomplishments are the equivalent of Xbox Achievements and PlayStation Trophies and RDR2 has them for PC as it seems. If they’re working on that, it’s a good sign Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on PC soon.

GTA 5 released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, then it joined the PS4 and Xbox One when they released and only after that it got released on PC in 2015. Based on that, it takes around a year for Rockstar to develop an updated version, iron out the bugs, and feel comfortable with releasing it. So, an optimistic estimate would be to see it this fall.

What do you think, when will PC gamers get their hands on Red Dead Redemption 2?
