Receiver is a first-person shooter video game by Wolfire Games released for PC and Mac in 2012. It tries to portray realistic gun mechanics through a unique reloading system. There is a different button assigned to each step of reloading. The player's task is to find eleven audio tapes as well as other items, which are scattered around in a procedurally generated world.
Now, Wolfire Games has announced its sequel, Receiver 2, with a reveal trailer.
Receiver 2 focuses even more on bringing the process of handling guns correctly to its players. In the game, players get to learn how each sidearm works, how to load it, unload it, and similar.
Receiver 2 is set to launch in early 2020, and you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
