The Farm 51 with their upcoming Chernobylite, 11bit studios with Children of Morta and many other developers will present their newest games at gamescom 2019.
Poland is now one of the largest represented countries at gamescom. Poland is the only Eastern European country to be active at most major trade fairs, as it will be this year in Cologne.
Jakub Marszalkowski of the Polish Game Industry Conference, the main organizer of the Polish Pavilion, says: “We are happy to be part of this fantastic game event again and would like to invite everybody to step by and see the hottest upcoming indie games from Poland. With the great support of exhibiting studios and other prominent supporters we can once again prove, that the Polish gaming industry is thriving and full of ideas and blooming studios.”
The titles presented at the booth will include the following games:
The Sci-Fi Survival horror game Chernobylite invites players to explore the contaminated world. In The Farm 51's new title, players face challenging battles, can craft improvements and uncover the twisted secrets of the world. The exclusion zone around the destroyed Chernobyl nuclear reactor was realistically converted by 3D scans.
In Last Oasis by Donkey Crew also exists an inhospitable world. The survival MMO revolves around nomadic clans moving across countries using wooden, mobile structures and face the dangers of both nature and hostile clans. The servers are linked together procedurally. Business and commerce in this game are actively determined and influenced by the players.
The interactive comic novel Liberated takes players into a dystopian-futuristic age of total technologization and surveillance. Developer Atomic Wolf tells the stories of four characters - captured in a comic-like 2D graphic style.
Children of Morta by developer 11bit studios is a story-driven RPG game about an extraordinary family of heroes. Help the Bergons, with all their flaws and virtues, in their fight against the forthcoming corruption. Players are faced with the difficult question: “Will you be able to sacrifice everything to save the ones you care for?”
Moreover, an extended meeting zone welcomes everybody who is interested in the Polish gaming industry to interviews, gaming sessions and meet-ups with developers.
