Sony announced the titles of PS Plus games that will be free to download for March 2019. There will be two free titles available from March 5 to April 1, 2019 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness.
"Activision’s colossal Call of Duty series is truly part of the fabric of modern gaming, and it was in 2007 that developer Infinity Ward took the console world by storm with its contemporary spin on the popular action series it helped create. 2016’s Modern Warfare Remastered brought the classic back in full HD for a new generation of gamers, while respectfully retaining its first-class gunplay and brilliant level design", Sony explained on their website.
The Witness is "an enigmatic first-person puzzler set on a seemingly-deserted tropical island, dotted from one end to the other with a vast network of interconnected puzzles", from the developer Number None, noted for developing the game Braid from 2008.
Until March 4, 2019 players have a chance to download free February’s PlayStation Plus games - Hitman and The Art of Battle.
Sony also stated that PS3 and PS Vita games will no longer be part of the monthly free games line-up for PS Plus. However, players could get free PS3 and PS Vita titles from the February games line-up until March 8, 2019. Titles that are included in February line-up are Divekick, PS3 (Cross-Buy with PS Vita); Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, PS3; Gunhouse, PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4) and Rogue Aces, PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4).
Regarding PS Plus specials, Sony is offering Yakuza Kiwami 2 at 40% off and both Hollow Knight and Just Cause 4 at 50% off.
