Nvidia and Activision Blizzard Had a Misunderstanding About GeForce Now

The entire Activision Blizzard catalogue was removed from GeForce Now, turns out that they weren’t even supposed to be available outside of the beta.

GeForce Now recently exited its beta period and was made publicly available, right after that every single Activision Blizzard game was removed from the service. Nvidia now came out and clarified what happened.

Nvidia and Activision Blizzard had an agreement that the game will be available during the beta, but that agreement did not cover the full release of GeForce Now. Because of this, Nvidia had to remove all of them and are now negotiating a new deal to get the games back.

Activision Blizzard has been a fantastic partner during the GeForce Now beta, which we took to include the free trial period for our founders membership,” Nvidia said in a statement. “Recognizing the misunderstanding, we removed their games from our service, with hope we can work with them to re-enable these, and more, in the future.

We hope they’ll be able to get to an agreement soon, because the Activision Blizzard catalogue is very big and has something for everyone.
