Recently, it has been confirmed that Death Stranding will be released on November 8, as it was promised. This information put to rest worries of the fans who were concerned that the game might not be ready on time for its release.
The release date reveal trailer gave us a lot of sequences of the game, and yet nothing was really clear from it about the story of the game; it left us pretty confused and wanting to know more. Since then, new details about the game have slowly becoming available and yesterday, a new promotional trailer titled The Drop was revealed.
The trailer shows us Norman Reedus’ character Sam Porter Bridges facing many dangers and obstacles on his way delivering packages and trying to reconnect the broken world piece by piece. In the description of the trailer, it says: “Reconnect society. Save us all.“ That won’t be simple at all.
We see that there is a group of baddies wearing something that looks like a yellow protective suit and throwing rods charged with electricity at Sam. They are hunting him and it seems like they won’t stop until they get him and the package he’s carrying. Then, there is a flashback to when he got the package and a man via projection saying: “Hurry Sam, you know what’s at stake.” The trailer ends with Sam carrying the package and BB (the jar baby or Bridge Baby) and seeing a huge, sinister, human-like figure in the distance.
