After a month in early access, Molek-Syntez might have slipped under the radar of many. Molek-Syntez is all about chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and monologues.
Zachtronics has a bit of a cult following, their games best known for their engineering puzzles and programming games. Molek-Syntez follows the recipe with molecular synthesis and a bunch of monologues in a small and cold apartment in Romania.
You would think extensive knowledge of chemistry is required to create pharmaceuticals (drugs), but it’s not all that difficult. So it’s ok if you failed chemistry in high school, this is just another day when you absolutely won't need it. It’s essentially a mix of their two most famous games, SpaceChem and Opus Magnum. It’s also very well optimized, so if you have never played a Zachtronics game, this is a good place to start.
In case chemistry gets you down, there’s a solitaire minigame, and in case that’s too tough, you can cheat and there’s nobody to stop you.
