Microsoft has announced its new digital event, Xbox 20/20, that will happen every month and it will bring news about the future of Xbox, upcoming Xbox Series X games, and more.
“Starting with the May 7 episode of Inside Xbox, we will be showcasing what happens next in the world of Xbox, every month, which is why we’re calling it “Xbox 20/20,” says Jerret West, CVP of Gaming Marketing, in a post on Xbox’s official website.
“These monthly moments will take place throughout the rest of the year and will be a way for us to engage, connect and celebrate with you about what’s in store for the next generation of gaming, including what’s next for Xbox Series X, Xbox Game Studios, Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud.”
In the inside Xbox episode on May 7, Xbox Series X gameplay, trailers for games from different publishers, and independent developers will be shown - Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, for example - while Xbox Series X exclusives from Xbox Game Studios are planned to be revealed in July.
In addition, West confirmed that their goals are still the same - to launch Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite during Holiday 2020, and he said that all 15 Xbox Game Studios are working hard on next-generation games for Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass.
