Microsoft and Xbox Start Project xCloud Testing for iPhone

The testing for Project xCloud on iPhone filled up sign-up capacity as soon as it began. It’s safe to say people are excited for xCloud.

Microsoft’s entry in the game streaming market, xCloud, seems to be very popular. It has been available for Android devices for some time now, but the public iPhone testing just started, and you can’t join it.

There’s only one game available for the test and it couldn’t be a better one, it’s Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Obviously, a lot of people got excited to play Halo anywhere they go, but only 10.000 people were able to join the test. The 10.000 registrations were filled almost immediately.

Microsoft is expected to increase the number of users in the coming tests.

So far, it seems that everyone is doing a lot better than Stadia in the new emerging market that is cloud gaming and game streaming.
