Riot Games has revealed that the open beta for Legends of Runeterra, a strategy card game set in the world of League of Legends, is scheduled to start next week.
Legends of Runeterra will be back online on January 23 at 11 am PT for those who played the game during the preview patches or has pre-registered on PC via the official website by 11.59 pm PT on January 19. If you’ve pre-registered on mobile, you’ll have to do it on PC too in order to get access to the game on January 23.
On January 24 at 11 am PT, Legends of Runeterra open beta testing officially starts, and anyone will be able to make an account, download the game and play it for free.
In addition, the dev team has reset accounts that played during the preview patches. They say there will be no more account resets, and that you'll be able to keep everything you earn during the beta.
Moreover, the beta version will get a new Ranked mode, new guardians and boards, a social panel, a friend challenge feature, and more than 20 cards will be updated.
Anyone who plays LoR during its beta will get an exclusive Moonstruck Poro Guardian when the game officially launches. All you have to do is login during the beta or within 7 days after LoR launches, and you’ll get this gift.
