God of War Is Not Getting a DLC for Its Anniversary

God of War celebrates its one-year anniversary on April 20. To mark the occasion, PlayStation 4 owners can expect some free stuff, but DLC is not one of them.

Sony prepared a PS4 dynamic theme, available right now, which depicts Atreus and Kratos in the Lake of Nine. Another thing prepared is a God of War Anniversary avatar set that will be available to download tomorrow. You don’t need to own God of War to get them and they are completely free.

Cory Barlog, creative director at SIE Santa Monica Studio, teased in a tweet on Sunday: “That’s not all…”

If you wondered what more could you expect, it might come to you as a disappointment that there won’t be any DLC’s for God of War, at least not for the anniversary.

“Just so no one gets the wrong idea - there is no DLC coming for the game. Sorry.” Cory Barlog further added “Also, no info on what the wizards @SonySantaMonica are working on, if they are working on anything,”

I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer for that DLC we were all so eager to get our hands on.
