As Borderlands 3’s release is getting closer, Gearbox will, if rumors are true, release a DLC for Borderlands 2 to bring players up to speed and bridge the gap.
Reported by PlayStation LifeStyle, an anonymous source claims that one last piece of content for Borderlands 2 will drop in a few weeks.
The DLC, named Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, will bridge the gap in the story and connect the two games. Presumably, the DLC will explain Sanctuary 3, the ship that flies you between planets, and how everyone got there. Maybe they’ll also explain why there isn’t a Sanctuary 2.
It’s expected to drop during E3 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, still unclear if it will be available on older consoles too. If there was ever a good way to get the fanbase hyped for Borderlands 3, it’s this.
