With the new update “Fortnite Save The World,” which is Fortnite’s co-op sandbox PVE Campaign, came new changes regarding the way heroes work. As a part of the Season 8 update players will have more customization options, perks, and abilities.

Each hero will have a specific perk, most reskins are going to be unique, and players will have different loadout slots separated by type. Commander slot will determine your hero and his perks, higher upgraded heroes will get their perks boosted. You’ll have five support slots in the hero loadout system where the player can place different heroes and gain new perks and buffs. The last series of new slots that players will have access to is team perks which will be earned by completing missions and quests, and you can apply them to any hero.

The last change, which has been requested for a long time, is multiple loadouts that players will be able to save, and switch between them in the pre-game lobby.

Epic will be offering free hero resets that will allow players to get their resources out of an upgraded character, and they will be granted other bonuses and tokens to make the loadout system more manageable.
