DOOM Eternal's Launch Has Been Delayed

Sad news for DOOM fans. DOOM Eternal was supposed to be released on November 22 this year but on the game’s official Twitter account it’s been revealed that the game’s launch has been delayed. The new release date is set on March 20, 2020, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. id Software explained in the post that they want to make sure that they will be delivering the best experience to their fans and that it will be worth the wait.

Also, it’s been revealed that Invasion Mode, which allows you to enter another player's game as a playable demon, won’t be available from the start; it will come as a free update shortly after the launch. In addition, the Nintendo Switch version won’t have the same release date. The release date for that version will be announced in the future. To soften the blow of this bad news, id Software has also revealed that Doom 64 is added as a pre-order bonus for DOOM Eternal on all platforms and it will be released on March 20, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
