There’s still a lot of time until Cyberpunk 2077 releases, so why not play the prequel, Cyberpunk Red that connect the game with the original tabletop.
At this year’s E3, Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith talked about him working on connecting the tabletop game with Cyberpunk 2077. The Jumpstart Kit will be the first look at what the updated lore looks like and Cyberpunk 2077’s story
During Gen Con August 1, a tabletop convention, the new starter set, Cyberpunk Red, will go on sale. R. Talsorian Games released the starter kit’s official box art and custom dice that will be bundled.
Besides the custom dice and lore book there is a full adventure scenario specially made for new players, news clippings from the universe, six pre-generated character templates, and four physical maps.
Cyberpunk Red will be available at the R. Talsorian Games booth for $29.99 and digitally at DriveThruRPG. If you can’t make it to the con, physical copies will be available at the R. Talsorian online store at a later date.
In case you haven’t played the original and would like to, you can get Cyberpunk 2020 online. If you want a physical copy, you’re out of luck because it is completely out of stock. Even the extra stock ordered ahead of E3 is sold.
