After a slight hiccup in the rollout schedule, Citadel: Forged With Fire, is ready to launch on November 1, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Set in the enchanted world of Ignus, this massive online sandbox RPG teaches aspiring wizards the art of spellcasting, spellcrafting, broomstick flying and extensive building as you make allies to form a house and then an empire.
As a newly graduated Wizard apprentice you find your fledgling powers lacking against the magical creatures, both good and evil, that traverse through the unexplored world of Ignus. Gather resources, establish bases, practice spellcrafting capabilities and grow your arcane abilities in preparation for the dark dangers that lie ahead.
Keep in mind that Citadel is a game filled with living things of all shapes and sizes, and taming them as friends or warding off dangerous creatures is an essential part of gameplay. Players can utilize spells to tame ferocious creatures and gain experience, watch them grow alongside you as a player as you travel through Ignus as they become a true and loyal companion in battle. Utilize creatures who are fast or who can fly to gain power over your enemy to attack from different vantage points.
Citadel: Forged With Fire also features an extensive building editor where aspiring Wizards have their pick at literally hundreds of structural pieces to utilize in constructing their fortress or broomstick sports arenas. The building editor is not just for creating from the ground up, use it to enhance your fortress with magical structures like defensive shields, attack towers, mana pools, respawn stones, and more.
In anticipation of the 1.0 worldwide launch Blue Isle Studio will be raising the Steam game price to $39.99 starting next week - but aspiring wizard apprentices can still purchase Citadel for $14.99 until next Tuesday.
