There’s rumours floating around that Nintendo might push some canceled 3DS games to raise the appeal of the Switch Lite, among them a Fire Emblem game.
Imran Khan recently spoke to Kinda Funny and went into detail about Nintendo’s plans. After the disappointing launch of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey and the closure of its developer, Alpha Dream, Nintendo decided to scale down plans for other 3DS games.
This includes games that were already in development for the 3DS, such as an unannounced Fire Emblem game and Style Savvy. Which means they're probably in development for the Switch too.
Continuing why it’s very likely that this games might come to the Switch, Takashi Mochizuki, a Wall Street Journal reporter, posted on Twitter saying "Nintendo chief Furukawa said company would make more 3DS franchises available on Switch to convey appeal of Lite".
We already know which games for the 3DS are being pushed back, but due to the success of both the Switch and its games, it’s very likely that they are going to be coming to Switch.
