Captain Price, Soap, the SAS, rebels, chemical weapons, and a global conflict, everything you would want or expect from a Call of Duty game.
So far, we’ve seen a lot of multiplayer content thanks to the weekend beta, but now it’s finally time for what got me excited about the latest Call of Duty, the campaign.
During Sony’s State of Play Livestream, a brand new story trailer was revealed and it looks a lot more like a movie trailer than a video game trailer.
The trailer doesn’t show us anything really new, we see Price and his team getting briefed by the CIA about stolen chemical weapons and then joining the fight to recover them with the Urzikstani Liberation Force. The trailer puts a little bit more focus on the rebels and their fight, which is also exciting to see.
By the end of the trailer, it’s clear that it’s no longer a local problem, that the chemical weapons are “in the wild” and that it is turning into a global conflict.
I for one am extremely excited for Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and thankfully the release date is just around the corner, October 25.
