Call of Duty: Modern Warfare kicks off its Season 3 today on all platforms, and Activision reveals a lot of new details about it.

Season 3 sees the return of Alex, who joins the ongoing battle in Verdansk. In a post on the official blog, Activision reveals all the new details about Season 3.

Something that will make Warzone fans happy is the addition of quads in Battle Royale and Plunder. So, now instead of teaming up with up to 3 players, you can team up in squads of 4. You don’t need the full version of Modern Warfare to join the action in Warzone, so you can get the “quad” download and start playing.

Then, it is said that during the season you can expect new modes such as Scopes and Scatter Guns, which is an only sniper and shotguns mode. Also, there will be a continuous overhaul of ground loot that will give you more options when it comes to the strategies in Warzone. Also, there will be new weapons and blueprints in Supply Boxes.

In addition, those who own the full Modern Warfare game will have the chance to experience three new 6v6 maps included free in Season 3. Then, two free weapons and more free content is coming with the Battle Pass System, and if you buy the Battle Pass you’ll get Alex, the returning operator.

Two more operators are planned for Season 3, which are Ronin, the already familiar “one-man army”, and Iskra, a new Allegiance fighter in the Chimera division.
