Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, one of the most anticipated games of 2019, has finally been released. However, the launch wasn’t smooth sailing.
The game experienced some issues with its servers. Many players reported that they weren’t able to connect to the game. At first, Infinity Ward acknowledged on their Twitter that a small number of Xbox One X players experienced crashes with the game.
However, later, on the Activision Support Twitter account, it’s been revealed that a huge number of players had trouble connecting to Modern Warfare. It was said that the issues were being investigated. Those players who were already in the game should've been able to continue playing without interruption.
Soon after, Infinity Ward announced that servers were coming back online and that everyone should be able to play Modern Warfare. It apologized and expressed gratitude for the players’ patience.
So, the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was kind of a bumpy ride. Honestly, it doesn't come as such a surprise considering that this is one of the most talked-about games, and a huge number of players wanted to experience it as soon as possible. Hopefully, the problems are now solved.
