Borderlands 3 Is Coming to Steam in March and New DLC Unveiled

The timed exclusivity deal between Epic Games and Gearbox for Borderlands 3 is ending and Borderlands 3 will be available on Steam on March 13.

Not only is Borderlands 3 coming to Steam, it’s being followed by the second story DLC on March 26, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock.

In case you are waiting for it to become available on Steam, but your friends already got it on the Epic Games Store, Gearbox confirmed that cross-play between the two platforms is possible. On the other hand, there’s still no word on when console and PC players will be able to play together, but it is coming at some point.

All of the previous Borderlands 3 content on the Epic Games Store will be coming to Steam, and Gearbox will continue as planned with additional content.

Going back to the new DLC, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock will be set on Xylourgos, an ice planet, and it will have you going against creatures that just scream Lovecraft. The Lovecraftian monsters are interfering with the wedding between Hammerlock and Wainwright, and you need to stop them.

The next piece of content planned for Borderlands 3 is Mayhem 2.0, which is an end-game update that will bring a lot of new modifiers and a free limited-time event, Revenge of the Cartels.
