If you’re unsure about getting it one the Switch, you can try the free demo, and in case you have it and love it, you can expect a free DLC next year.
The Game Kitchen and Team17’s ‘Blasphemous’ was released back in September, but it’s understandable if you never got around to it.
Set in the decaying land of Orthodoxia, a place where religion is of the utmost importance in the eyes of the populace, superstition runs amok, and churches outnumber people two to one. You will find yourself in this agonizing territory in the wake of the Age of Corruption, during which practically the entire population was transformed into hideous beasts as a punishment for their mutual blasphemy and inadequate worship
To help you decide if the game is for you, a free demo has been made available on the Nintendo Switch, and if you’re on PS4 you can pick it up with a 25% discount. Besides the demo, the Japanese version will be released tomorrow.
PC players also got some love with the second patch that went live. It improves platforming, has graphical fixes, moving platforms were also reworked, and more.
Finally, new content has been confirmed for 2020 in the form of free DLC.
