A few days ago, Anthem players reported the game had bugs that caused their PS4 consoles to crash. BioWare is fixing these problems with the next week’s patch.
Head of Live Service at BioWare, Chad Robertson, addressed the reports via his Twitter account, saying:
“After thorough review, we have not encountered an instance where Anthem has “bricked” a PS4 console. If you are experiencing anything different, please reach out to @EAHelp so we can track the incident and investigate. Thanks for your patience.”
Following this tweet, Chad Robertson came back with an update that said:
“We’ve identified several causes for the temp power-down crash some PS4 users experienced. Fixes for the top issues are in patch next week. If you encounter a game crash where your PS4 console won’t respond, you can manually power down and restart it – no risk of damage.”
Everyone that experienced problems with their PS4 console, and those who haven’t started playing Anthem yet, should all wait for this fix before starting the game, just to be on the safe side.
