After a rocky 2018, Bethesda has confirmed their return to E3 and their fifth annual showcase.
Bethesda has officially announced their showcase for Sunday, June 9 at 5:30 PM PT. The only thing they’ve confirmed for sure is DOOM Eternal. Which is completely expected since we haven’t gotten much information on it since the reveal last August.
Everything else is up for speculation, but we could guess some of the things that we will see. We will probably see Wolfenstein: Youngblood which was teased last year and given a release window.
The trainwreck that was Fallout 76 is guaranteed to be mentioned, probably a road map and apology for doing that to fans.
Things that are also likely to happen, but aren’t as probable are Rage 2 and a new title from Arkane Studios. Rage 2 will by then have been released for around a month, so it’s possible that DLC will be announced (Reminder: Rage 2 will have both free and paid DLC). When it comes to Arkane Studios, on the other hand, anything goes, we might see a new Dishonored, more content for Pray or possibly an entirely new IP.
The picture used for the announcement has a starfield that forms “#BE3”, so it’s likely Starfield will be mentioned too. But don’t get your hopes up, it was already confirmed that Starfield is still years away.
Finally, we have what everyone is waiting for, The Elder Scroll VI. Just like Starfield, we probably won’t hear a lot about it. Both games are expected to be next-gen, but if we’re lucky, we might see them on current gen consoles too, just like GTA V when it was released. Either way, we’ll be happy to hear anything new, since Skyrim was released, re-released, and remastered enough times by now.
