TIGA announced the winners of the TIGA Games Industry 2019 following their biggest ever awards ceremony held at The Natural History Museum in London. The TIGA Awards are designed to recognise the achievements of studios, businesses and universities across the games sector.
And the winner for Game of The Year and Best Technical Innovation is Lockwood Publishing, the company behind Avakin Life.
Sony and Supermassive Games didn’t leave empty handed either. Sony IE Europe was celebrating three trophies: Best Visual Design, Heritage Award and Best Art/Animation/Trailer Supplier.
There was also a double win for Supermassive Games who scooped Best Action and Adventure Game and Best Social Game with The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan.
A smaller, independent studio, Martian Rex won Best Role Playing Game for Stone Story RPG.
