If you follow Chernobylite on social media, you’ve probably already seen the short material prepared for gamescom, which teased fresh content awaiting you in the game. However, today the developers have decided to reveal loads of new footage made entirely thanks to their Kickstarter supporters. Get inside the heart of darkness, an accurately recreated Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, in the unedited gameplay footage from the gamescom demo! But remember - this will not be a carefree journey.
Discover new routes to take in the highly contaminated Exclusion Zone of Chernobylite, but be careful! Besides being an excellent virtual alternative to visiting the Pripyat power plant and its surroundings, Chernobylite will also drive you insane. Play as a physicist who decided to revisit the area 30 years later to finally face his fears and rescue his beloved. Encounter unpredictable situations and natural, as well as supernatural threats. Overcome deadly creatures pouring out from an alternate reality. And do your best to stay conscious, as it won’t be an easy task.
Watch the new uncut Chernobylite gameplay footage and see how the game has developed in just 3 months since its Kickstarter campaign.
Add the game to your wishlist on Steam to keep up with all news and updates from the polluted zones of Chernobyl.
If you missed the Kickstarter campaign but would like to support the game and grab some goodies, don’t worry – you can still make a late pledge here.
