Twenty years after the release of the last installment a new teaser trailer for System Shock 3 has dropped. OtherSide Entertainments’ Warren Spector has revealed the teaser during Unity's Game Developers Conference keynote.
Spector worked on the original System Shock way back in the 90s. He was working for Looking Glass Technologies at that time but has joined OtherSide back in 2016. Spector has issued a statement saying:
"Working on System Shock was one of the most fulfilling things I've done in my career and it's hard to describe how much I'm looking forward to sharing with players what SHODAN has been up to since the last game was released."
Founder of OtherSide Entertainment, Paul Neurath, has also worked on the original System Shock with Spector at Looking Glass. The original System Shock was released back in 1994 and the sequel System Shock 2 arrived in 1999, so it's been a long while since the last entry. But considering who’s involved in the development, it’s safe to assume that this sequel is in good hands.
